Jed Hamberger breeds German Shorthairs and American Brittanys
We've been training dogs since 2013 and started breeding dogs in 2019. All bred to be wild bird dogs focusing on Grouse Hunting. Our mission is to continue to develop the breed. We always want to be able to have these dogs in the house and in the field. The "Off Switch" is important to us as well as a high level of prey drive with a long nose and caution on wild birds.

For the Love of the Grouse
I've been training and running bird dogs since 2013. I was a guide at hunting hills preserve for many years and have recently moved to grouse country to be able to pursue wild birds. Our entire goal is to continue to develop both of the breeds to be better grouse dogs. We are looking for Range, Long Nose, and Biddability as our three main characteristics. When we aren't out running dogs we are probably on the water somewhere doing some fly fishing.
